Convergent Dental, developer of Solea dental laser, appointed Wayne Craig as its new national VP of sales, according to a Nov. 19 news release.
With almost 30 years of medical device sales experience, Mr. Craig was previously vice president North American sales at Align Technology. He has also held roles at companies such as Intuitive Surgical, Johnson & Johnson and Stryker Surgical.
According to Mr. Craig, successful sales requires both a product that helps customers achieve their goals and salespeople who actively listen to customers.
"Solea's ability to enrich patient experiences, improve office efficiencies, enhance clinical outcomes and increase new patient flow is absolutely unique," Mr. Craig said in the news release. "By seeking first to understand each dentist's individual ambitions, the sales team can help them leverage Solea's many unique benefits to meet their goals."
