A Florida man was arrested Nov. 13 for allegedly practicing dentistry in his house without a dental license, according to CBS affiliate WTSP.
Jose Emilio Mas Fernandez, 33, was arrested after an undercover detective visited his house and discovered dental instruments, police say. Mr. Hernandez had allegedly told the detective he could perform a tooth extraction and provide antibiotics for $150.
Police claim Mr. Fernandez admitted to performing dental cleanings and tooth extractions from his home.
He has been charged with practicing dentistry without a license.
