The American Dental Association installed Chad P. Gehani, DDS, as its 156th president on Sept. 9.
Dr. Gehani of Queens, N.Y., received his dental degree from Columbia University in New York City. He has been awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for dedicating his life to serving the community.
Dr. Gehani served as an ADA delegate from 2000-14 and an ADA 2nd District trustee from 2014-18. Dr. Gehani is the former president of both the New York State Dental Association and the Queens County Dental Society. He is also a member of the Indian Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
