A former Oak Brook, Ill.-based dentist was arrested Aug. 16 for allegedly practicing dentistry without a license, according to the Daily Herald.
James D'Alise, DDS, whose license is revoked, has been charged with six counts of practicing dentistry without a license, reports the Daily Herald.
Dr. D'Alise's license was revoked in July 2018 for "prescribing controlled substances while his controlled substance license was expired, substandard treatment in dental procedures and unprofessional conduct," according to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and cited by the Chicago Sun-Times.
An investigation into Dr. D'Alise is ongoing. The dentist has been released on bond.
