The Academy of General Dentistry recognized more than 240 dentists who completed their fellowship, the Payson Roundup reports.
What you should know:
1. Among the newly inducted fellows was Kristin Wade, DMD. Dr. Wade and the other fellows had to complete 500 hours of continuing dental education, pass a written exam and maintain a membership with the Academy of General Dentistry for three years.
2. The AGD represents more than 17,080 members of the dental community, "who have gone above and beyond basic requirements."
3. Dr. Wade is a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Clear Aligners.
AGD President Manuel Cordero, DDS, commended Dr. Wade, saying, "Dr. Wade has gone above and beyond her duties, distinguishing herself professionally amongst her peers and exemplifying her allegiance to the dental community."
