A Troup County, Ga.-based dentist has been accused by patients of not performing procedures that the patients have already paid for, according to WSBTV.
Patients claim James Tyrer, DDS, hasn't shown up for scheduled surgeries, leaving them to constantly reschedule or seek care with another provider.
One patient said she has had to reschedule her surgery with Dr. Tyrer five times since June 20. The patient has tried to get more than $700 in co-pay funds back; however, the practice said she wasn't authorized to receive a refund.
An office assistant said that Dr. Tyrer has been in and out of the dental practice with "personal issues," WSBTV reports.
