Dentsply Sirona's board of directors has approved the relocation of its headquarters in York, Pa., to an office in Charlotte, N.C., the company announced May 23 in a news release.
The decision to move to Charlotte is to better centralize Dentsply Sirona's sales and service infrastructure while also simplifying the organization., the company said in the news release Being in Charlotte will also allow the company to further its clinical education capabilities at its dental academy.
Dentsply Sirona's CFO Nicholas Alexos also plans to leave the company in connection with its relocation. Mr. Alexos will continue serving as CFO until his successor is selected.
It is unclear how the transition will affect employees' jobs.
