Dental insurer Beam Dental will invest $1.5 million and bring 150 jobs to its Columbus, Ohio, headquarters, according to The Columbus Dispatch.
Beam Dental currently has 50 employees in Columbus. The dental insurer decided to expand after the city granted Beam a state tax incentive.
Along with Beam Dental, Sam's Club plans to create 525 jobs with an annual payroll of $17.5 million, reports The Columbus Dispatch.
Along with providing dental insurance, Beam offers perks to members, including toothbrushes, tooth paste and refill heads that are shipped to members' homes twice a year. The toothbrushes sync to members' smartphones for Beam to track brushing patterns.
