Billy D. Davis, DDS, 87, passed away Nov. 5, The Baltimore Sun reports.
Dr. Davis was a retired dentist who cared for patients in West Baltimore for more than 50 years. He received his doctor of dental surgery degree from Washington, D.C.-based Howard University College of Dentistry.
He completed fellowship training through the Academy of General Dentistry before establishing a general dentistry practice in Baltimore, where he worked until retiring in 2012. Dr. Davis enjoyed playing golf and was an avid boater, teaching boating classes through the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was a member of the Dolphin Cruising Club and the Neptune Yacht Club, both in Baltimore.
