Dentsply Sirona unveiled its latest dental laser the Sculpt I.Q.
Here are five highlights:
1. The new laser features dual wavelength settings for various clinical procedures, such as oral surgery, endodontics, periodontology and tooth whitening.
2. Sculpt I.Q. is equipped with touchscreen navigation and 12 preset applications. Dentsply Sirona designed the laser to configure for two individual users.
3. Dentsply Sirona also included an ergonomic handpiece and wireless foot control with the laser to allow clinicians to work more comfortably.
4. Sculpt I.Q. also features two individual diodes. The 970nm wavelength is designed for cutting, and the 660nm wavelength is designed for low-level laser therapies, including tissue healing.
5. "Treatment with the Sculpt I.Q. laser delivers less trauma to the soft tissue while offering accelerated healing across a variety of procedures," said Dentsply Sirona Product Manger Anthony Vigliotti. "It stops the need for sutures in many procedures while reducing bleeding and post-treatment infections."
