Dentsply Sirona launched version 4.5 of its CEREC Premium Software, according to Zenopa.
Here are five things to know:
1. The new software integrates with various indications for Dentsply Sirona's inLab solution.
2. Dentsply Sirona designed the platform to automatically detect restorations and to automate shade detection analysis.
3. Milling functions are also updated to improve fit for complex restorations.
4. CEREC users will have access to more indications, including bridge framework, abutment bridges and crown copings.
5. Alexander Vlokcer, PhD, group president of CAD/CAM at Dentsply Sirona, told Zenopa, "With this new software version, we offer dentists a very efficient tool. Many aspects are now simpler and thus safer and, indeed, quicker."
