Henry Schein donated $18,000 in dental supplies and equipment to the Growing Smiles Foundation in support of the foundation's annual trip to provide oral health treatment to children in Peru.

1. The Growing Smiles Foundation received gloves, restorative materials and dental hand pieces along with preventative care supplies.
2. The Growing Smiles Foundation consists of two pediatric dentists, a periodontist, three pediatric dental residents, a dental hygienist and 17 dental students from Maurice Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.
3. The team treats nearly 220 patients, majority being children.
4. Since the program began in 2013, dentists, students and faculty have treated more than 1,000 patients in Peru.
5. The donation is in part of the Henry Schein Cares program, the company's global corporate responsibility program.
