Here are five things to know:

1. The lab will house the company’s projection micro stereolithography technology to manufacture custom dental veneers.

2. BMF’s 3D printed zirconia veneers are 0.08 mm thick, compared to traditional veneers which are about 0.5 mm thick.

3. By using thinner veneers, results can be achieved with less preparation time and better preserve the patient’s enamel.

4. The UltraThinner material received FDA 510(k) clearance in April.

5. The company is looking to team up with dental labs as collaborative partners to expand its reach to dental practices.
