The top dental technology updates from September

From dental companies receiving investments to FDA approvals, here are nine dental technology updates that Becker's reported on in September:

1. Los Angeles-based Feno, an at-home oral health technology company, secured $6 million in a seed funding round.

2. The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis welcomed the first dental-dedicated MRI in the U.S.

3. Toronto, Canada-based ClaroNav received FDA clearance to expand its Navident EVO system to include guided endodontics.

4. A federal judge rejected Align Technology's proposed $27.5 million settlement in its antitrust case.

5. Orthodontics company uLab introduced Reva, a thermoforming material used to improve clear aligner products.

6. Bruce Smoler, DDS, completed his 1,000th robotic dental implant using the Neocis Yomi robot. 

7. Dental technology company Carestream Dental secured a new investment to fuel future growth. 

8. Dental technology Dentsply Sirona introduced Primescan 2, a wireless, cloud-native intraoral scanner.

9. LightForce Orthodontics, a developer of 3D printed dental brackets, received a commitment of $50 million from Trinity Capital.
