Dental technology company Sonendo brought in $11 million in total revenue during the second quarter of 2023.
The company released its second quarter financial results Aug. 9.

1. The company's total revenue was 5 percent more than that made during the second quarter of 2022.
2. Sonendo earned $5.6 million in procedure instrument revenue, approximately 16 percent more than the second quarter of 2022.
3. The company's total operating expenses were $18 million, compared to $16.8 million in the second quarter of 2022.
4. The company had a net loss of $17.7 million, compared to $15.1 million for the second quarter of 2022.
5. Sonendo saw a $17 million loss from operations, compared to $14.3 million for the second quarter of 2022.
6. The company announced Aug. 1 that its CleanFlow instrument was indicated for use on anterior teeth.
7. The company said it expects to bring in between $10.2 million and $10.6 million in total revenue for the third quarter. It also anticipates between $44 million and $46 million in total revenue for the full year of 2023.
