The practice, owned by Adam Marina, DDS, is also the first dental practice in Kansas to implement the robot, the report said.
Since adding Yomi last month, the practice has used it to complete around 100 dental implant procedures.
The system creates a custom treatment plan for each patient and increases accuracy of cutting angles and positions by taking a 3D X-ray image. A single dental implant procedure takes less than one hour to complete using the robot.
The Yomi robot system is the only robot-assisted dental surgery system with FDA clearance in the U.S.
