SprintRay launched Ceramic Crown, a 3D printing ecosystem that allows dentists to perform same-day, chairside ceramic dental restorations and implants.
Ceramic Crown uses an FDA cleared ceramic-based resin to create 3D printed dental crowns in less than 10 minutes, according to a Feb. 23 news release. In total, printing and implanting the crowns in a patient can take less than 45 minutes.
Traditionally, dental crown implants require multiple patient visits and significant chair time. Ceramic Crown can reduce the number of visits to one.
The system is powered by AI to increase the productivity and efficiency of printing and building the implants, according to the release.
