The American Dental Association has launched a program to provide its members at the national, state and local levels with resources to advance diversity and inclusion.
The Champions Network will host virtual meetings throughout the year, starting May 26, according to a May 18 news release.
During the meetings, attendees can participate in educational sessions and discussions covering transformational leadership, change management and intercultural competence. They will also gain access to resources, best practices and tools to help them implement diversity and inclusion efforts within their respective dental societies.
The program is part of the ADA's ongoing diversity efforts as the racial and gender diversity of the dental workforce continues to grow.
