Three-fourths of dentists working for public health programs think all dental team members should be required to get vaccinated against COVID-19, according to poll findings from the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute.
Results come from the ADA's nationwide poll of 81 dentists in public health settings for the week of Aug. 16.
Dentists were asked to indicate their level of agreement with the statement, "Clinics/health centers should require all dental team members to be vaccinated against COVID-19."
In total, 75 percent of dentists said they strongly agree, while 16 percent said they somewhat agree. The other 9 percent of respondents either said they neither agreed nor disagreed; they somewhat disagree; or they strongly disagree.
