A South Carolina dental practice is reporting long waitlists for new patients seeking general cleanings, reports CBS affiliate WBTW.
Myrtle Beach-based Ocean Bay Dental Care reopened last June after shuttering amid COVID-19. Now, trying to catch up from old cancellations, November is the earliest availability for new patients wanting a cleaning.
As COVID-19 vaccination rates rise, new patients are calling more frequently, said Ashton Quintana, a business associate at Ocean Bay Dental Care.
Local population growth has also led to waitlists for providers, reports WBTW.
