About 90 percent of dental practices reported concern about their PPE supply amid the pandemic, according to a survey from dental supply company Net32.
In total, 1,094 dental practices participated in an online survey April 25.
Respondents expressed concern about procuring the following PPE supplies:
- 75 percent of respondents reported concern about obtaining N95 face masks
- 50 percent surgical face masks
- 50 percent hand sanitizer
- 40 percent disposable gloves
- 40 percent liquid sterilant
- 20 percent barrier film
- 20 percent protective eyewear
- 17 percent chair covers
Notable text entry responses include face shields, gowns, air purifiers, UV treatment and COVID-19 test kits.
