Dentists displayed higher confidence levels in the economic conditions of their own dental practice, the dental care sector and the U.S. economy in the fourth quarter of 2024 than the third quarter.
Confidence in the U.S. economy as a whole had the largest jump between quarters, increasing by nearly 20%, according to a survey from the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute.
More than 60% of dentists are confident in the economic conditions of their dental practice and the dental industry going forward.
The survey polled more than 900 dentists in private practice.
