CEO vs. worker pay at 6 dental companies

The highest-paid dental company CEOs are paid between 69 and 1,271 times more than the median annual salary for employees at these companies, according to new data from AFL-CIO. 

AFL-CIO recently collected compensation and salary data to rank the highest-compensated CEOs from S&P 500 and Russell 3,000 companies.

Here is the CEO-to-worker pay ratio for six dental companies included in the ranking:

1. Align Technology

Median worker pay: $22,781

Pay ratio: 1,271 to 1

2. Colgate Palmolive

Noel Wallace, CEO: $17,121,584

Median worker pay: $50,885

Pay ratio: 336 to 1

3. Henry Schein

Stanley Bergman, CEO: $10,005,729 

Median worker pay: $76,005

Pay ratio: 132 to 1

4. Dentsply Sirona 

Simon Campion, CEO: $8,518,987

Median worker pay: $53,410

Pay ratio: 160 to 1

5. Envista Holdings Corporation

Amir Aghdaei, CEO: $7,059,325

Median worker pay: $42,579

Pay ratio: 166 to 1

6. Patterson Companies

Mark Walchirk, CEO: $6,074,640

Median worker pay: $96,733

Pay ratio: 69 to 1
