Dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants were included on a list of 46 healthcare jobs ranked by job outlook and opportunity.
The rankings were created by Tebra, a digital healthcare platform, and uses census data and Bureau of Labor Statistics data on healthcare occupations.
The study based its rankings on the 2022 median pay, 10-year outlook by expected job growth rate, employment per 10,000 workers and search volume for job per capita.
The 46 professions were ranked on a scale of 1 to 100, with pay and job outlook being worth 30% each, employment worth 25% and search volume worth 15%.
