There were 60.77 dentists per 100,000 individuals in the U.S. in 2022, according to data from the American Dental Association’s Health Policy Institute.

Washington, D.C., had the highest number of dentists per capita out of any state, with 111.64 dentists per 100,000 individuals in 2022.
