Las Vegas is the top city for dental visit procrastination in the U.S., according to a recent report from orthodontics company Byte.
Byte said it surveyed 1,107 people and analyzed data from Google to see "which cities are searching the most about things like dental anxiety and cost" between January 2019 and April 2022. The company also asked why people put off their appointments.The results of the report were reviewed by Jay Khorsandi, DDS.
Byte then analyzed the top 50 cities by population to determine which had the highest number of dental visit procrastinators, according to a July 12 website post. Those cities, in descending order are:
