1. The price of comprehensive orthodontic treatment for pediatric patients ranges from $4,978 to $6,900, according to 2016 data from the American Dental Association.
2. Adult patients can pay between $5,100 to $7,045 out of pocket for comprehensive orthodontic treatment, which lasts between 18 to 24 months.
3. The average fee for veneers is $1,000 to $2,000 per tooth, according to the American Dental Association.
4. For a complete set of upper and lower veneers the price tag can range between $2,500 to $4,000.
5. Insurance coverage for orthodontic treatments and veneers varies widely, the report notes. For some plans, there is a $1,500 maximum cap, as many dental insurers do not completely cover orthodontic procedures.
