Virtual Dental Care launched dental.com, a teledentistry service that allows patients access to dental care from their homes.
The platform is part of Teledentistry 3.0, which utilizes artificial intelligence to improve patient outcomes, experiences, diagnoses and personalized treatment plans, according to a June 21 news release.
Teledentistry 3.0 also provides preventive and problem-focused dental services, convenience and flexibility, and referrals to in-person dental offices when necessary, as well as helping remove geographic and financial barriers to dental care access.
