Dental artificial intelligence company Pearl has made several moves so far this year to expand its services at dental practices across the U.S. and establish itself as a force in the industry.
The company has received several awards this year for its work, including being named a Power Partner by Inc., being included on Aragon Research's list of "'Hot Vendors in Computer Vision," and winning the Best of Class Technology Award from Cellerant Consulting group.
Here are five ways the company has expanded its reach in the dental industry:
1. Pearl added Mike Buckner as senior vice president of partnerships in January to support the company's expansion into new markets.
2. In March, Pearl received FDA clearance for its Second Opinion software, the first in the world to read dental X-rays to identify oral health conditions.
3. In July, Midway Dental, a dental technology and supply distributor, added Pearl's chairside Second Opinion technology to its inventory.
4. New York City-based DSO Dntl Bar added Pearl's artificial intelligence technology at its locations.
5. In October, the company inked a deal to integrate its technology with SOTA's dental imaging software.
