SmileDirectClub revenue jumps 62.7% in Q2

Nashville, Tenn.-based SmileDirectClub recently released its second-quarter financial report, showing $174 million in revenue.

The company’s total revenue increased 62.7 percent over last year, according to an Aug. 9 press release. The company also reported a net loss of $55 million, a 41.6 percent improvement over a $96 million net loss in the same period last year.

The average gross sales price for SmileDirectClub’s aligner was $1,885 during the second quarter of 2021, compared to $1,817 during the second quarter of 2020.
